Catalog Description: Adobe Photoshop is an industry-based image-manipulation
processing program. The designer, illustrator, or fine artist can use the program
as a paint, prepress, color correction, and darkroom system. Numerous image
effects are possible after black and white or color images have been
scanned and/or electronically created. Prerequisite: Digital Image Making

To examine the effects of digitization on the visual.

To build a foundation of techniques in the areas of selection, image
manipulation, color corection, layering, masking, and filter usage.
