KeyStroke is a Multi-user Cross Media Synthesizer developed at the Waag Labs of the Society for Old and New Media that allows multiple players to generate, synthesize and process images, sounds and text together in realtime, within a shared virtual workspace.

As a tool, KeyStroke enables real-time collaborative possibilities between artists from different disciplines. Players can be working together in the same physical space and connected via a local network or connected through the Internet and distributed throughout the world.
